Course Description
This professional development course equips social studies teachers with the knowledge and skills to effectively integrate archival resources into social studies instruction. Participants will learn how to locate and engage with archives, align artifacts with state and district standards, and choose appropriate thematic or chronological teaching approaches. The course also guides educators in designing focused lesson plans that clearly articulate the use of archival materials and support diverse learners.
